Terms of Service
Last updated: April 17, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MakerSuite 3D (pcbviewer.app, "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MakerSuite 3D is a free browser-based viewer for PCB, schematic, and 3D model files. All file parsing and rendering happens locally in your browser. Optional features (shared links, BOM supplier lookup) interact with external services described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Service Provided "AS IS"
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that file parsing is accurate, complete, or free of errors. Parsers may misread ambiguous or non-standard files. Do not rely on the Service for manufacturing, safety-critical, or legally-binding decisions without independent verification.
4. User Content and Files
You retain all rights to files you upload. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to use, view, and share those files. Files uploaded for local viewing are never transmitted to our servers. Files you explicitly choose to share via the "Share Link" feature are stored on Cloudflare R2 and accessible to anyone with the link. Do not upload files containing classified, NDA-protected, or third-party confidential information that you are not authorized to share.
5. Third-Party Supplier Data
BOM supplier information (pricing, stock, datasheets from LCSC, DigiKey, Mouser) is provided by third parties and forwarded to you for convenience. We do not verify accuracy, current availability, or pricing. Prices and stock change in real time. Always confirm with the supplier before placing orders.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MakerSuite and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use or inability to use the Service. Total aggregate liability shall not exceed USD 100.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to: (a) attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or attack the Service; (b) use the Service to violate any law or third-party right; (c) upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service for other users; (d) use automated means to scrape or overload the Service; (e) misrepresent the Service as your own.
8. Trademarks
MakerSuite 3D supports third-party PCB and CAD file formats for interoperability. The following are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only — this does not imply affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship: KiCad is a trademark of the KiCad Project; Altium and Altium Designer are trademarks of Altium LLC; EAGLE is a trademark of Autodesk, Inc.; EasyEDA is a trademark of JLCPCB; Fusion 360, Inventor, and ViewCube are trademarks of Autodesk, Inc.; SolidWorks is a trademark of Dassault Systèmes; Siemens NX is a trademark of Siemens AG; Gerber® is a registered trademark of Ucamco NV; OpenCascade is a trademark of Open Cascade S.A.S.; LCSC is a trademark of LCSC Electronics Co., Ltd.; DigiKey and Digi-Key are trademarks of DigiKey Electronics; Mouser and Mouser Electronics are trademarks of Mouser Electronics, Inc. STEP (ISO 10303) is an international standard, not a trademark of MakerSuite.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MakerSuite, its operators, and contributors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) files you upload, share, or process through the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property, confidentiality, or privacy rights. This obligation survives your discontinued use of the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be noted on this page.
11. Governing Law
Except as provided in §12 for U.S. residents, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea.
12. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver (U.S. Residents)
If you are a resident of the United States, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service — except for (i) disputes concerning intellectual property rights, and (ii) claims that may be brought in a small-claims court — shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall be conducted in English and may be held remotely. YOU AND MAKERSUITE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice via the Feedback Form within 30 days of first using the Service; opting out does not affect any other provision of these Terms. This section does not apply to users outside the United States.
