Free Online GLB & glTF Viewer

Open a .glb or .gltf model in your browser — nothing to install, nothing uploaded. Play its animations, check its size and materials, measure it and convert it.

Drop a GLB or glTF file here
A .glb, or a .gltf with everything embedded — or any other 3D format the viewer reads. It opens in the 3D viewer.
Try a sample GLB
Opened on your computer — the file is never uploaded.

What it opens

  • GLB (binary glTF 2.0), and .gltf files with their buffers and images embedded
  • Compressed models: Draco and Meshopt geometry, KTX2 (Basis Universal) textures
  • The other formats the viewer reads as well: STEP, IGES, STL, OBJ, glTF, 3MF, FBX, PLY, COLLADA, 3DS, USD, Rhino 3DM, VRML
  • All in your browser — the file never leaves your computer

Look inside the model

  • PBR materials and textures, lit the way a web page or game engine shows them
  • Animations: pick a clip, play or pause it, change the speed
  • Size, bounding box, triangle and vertex count
  • Measure between any two points, and slide a section plane through the model
  • Wireframe and edge views, orthographic or perspective

A .gltf that comes with a .bin and images

Many .gltf files are only the JSON part: the geometry sits in a .bin file and the textures in image files next to it. One dropped file cannot bring those along, so the viewer asks for a .glb instead — the same model with everything packed into one file. Most tools export GLB directly; in Blender it is File → Export → glTF 2.0 with the format set to glTF Binary (.glb).

GLB or glTF?

Both are glTF 2.0, the Khronos Group format for delivering 3D models on the web and in apps. A .gltf is JSON text that points at its buffers and images; a .glb packs the same JSON and data into one binary file. The model and materials are the same — GLB is just easier to send and to open.

Convert to GLB

The viewer exports to STL, OBJ, PLY, glTF, GLB, USDZ, 3MF. Or go straight to a converter:

GLTF → GLBSTEP → GLBSTL → GLBOBJ → GLBFBX → GLB3DS → GLB

Frequently asked questions

Is the GLB viewer free? Do I need an account?

It is free and needs no account or install. Open the page and drop the file.

Is my GLB file uploaded?

No. The file is read by your browser on your computer; nothing is sent to a server.

Does it open Draco-compressed GLB?

Yes. Draco and Meshopt geometry and KTX2 textures are decoded in the browser, the way three.js and model-viewer load them.

Do animations play?

Yes. If the file has animation clips, the viewer lists them — choose one, play or pause it and set the speed.

My .gltf says files are missing. What now?

That .gltf keeps its geometry and textures in separate files. Export the model as .glb (one file with everything inside) and open that.

Does it work on a phone or tablet?

Yes, in a mobile browser: drag with one finger to rotate, pinch to zoom.
